During the last ten years Naxys has developed the most advanced system in the world for detecting subsea oil and gas leaks.
In addition to leakage alarm, the system can continuously monitor the condition of subsea equipment such as pumps, valves and process equipment.
From our office in Bergen in western Norway we are able to monitor real-time data from the most advanced subsea processing installations. We have delivered several new systems, viz. to the Pazflor Field in 750 metres depth off the coast of West Africa and to several fields in the North Sea.
Naxys has been assigned a contract for the development and delivery of leak detection systems to the seven subsea frames at the Goliat Field. Goliat is a project which is extremely focused on consideration to the environment, and this contract award confirms our world-leading position with regard to technology and quality.
To ensure the quality of the products we deliver, we have utilised our geographical fjord-side location in Bergen. Only 300 metres out from our deepwater berth, we have installed a remote controlled test site on the seabed 210 metres below the surface. We test our equipment here before shipping it to the customer for final installation.
